Terms & Conditions
Last updated: February 2026
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the sale of tickets and access to Helsinki Blockchain Week ("HBW", the "Event") produced by Walbrook Association LLC ("Walbrook", "we"). By purchasing a ticket or attending the Event you accept these Terms.
1. The Event
Helsinki Blockchain Week 2027 is scheduled for 8 – 9 September 2027 at Messukeskus, Helsinki Expo & Convention Centre, Finland. Programme, speakers, times and venues are indicative and may change without prior notice. We will make reasonable efforts to communicate material changes in advance.
2. Tickets & payment
- All prices are shown in Euro (EUR) inclusive of applicable VAT unless stated otherwise. VAT invoices are provided on request.
- Payment is processed by Stripe Payments Europe Ltd. Orders are confirmed only when payment is captured.
- Tickets are personal, non-transferable to another person without our written approval, and must not be resold above face value. Any attempt to do so voids the ticket.
3. Right of withdrawal & refund policy
Under Directive 2011/83/EU (Consumer Rights) Art. 16(l), tickets for services related to leisure activities on a specific date are exempt from the 14-day right of withdrawal. Therefore ticket sales are final and non-refundable, except:
- where required by mandatory consumer-protection law;
- if the Event is cancelled by Walbrook (see §5);
- where we agree in writing to a name change or refund at our discretion. A €25 administrative fee may apply.
4. Access & ID
A valid ticket and government-issued photo ID are required for badge collection. We may refuse admission or remove any attendee who does not comply with these Terms or the Code of Conduct.
5. Cancellation, postponement & force majeure
If Walbrook cancels the Event, we will refund the ticket price paid. If we postpone or move the Event online in whole or in part due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control (including epidemics, governmental orders, strikes, natural events or venue unavailability), tickets will remain valid for the new date/format; alternatively a pro-rata refund may be offered. Walbrook is not liable for incidental expenses such as travel or accommodation.
6. Attendee obligations
Attendees must comply with the Event Code of Conduct, venue rules, Finnish law and any instructions from Walbrook staff or security. Weapons, illegal substances, unauthorised recording of private sessions, and disruptive behaviour are prohibited.
7. Intellectual property
All content presented at the Event and on this website — including logos, session recordings, artwork and copy — is protected by intellectual-property rights owned by Walbrook or its partners. No use, reproduction or distribution is permitted without prior written consent.
8. Recording & media
The Event is filmed and photographed. By attending you acknowledge you may appear in such recordings, which Walbrook may use for editorial, promotional and archival purposes worldwide, subject to the Privacy Policy.
9. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Walbrook's total liability arising out of or in connection with these Terms is limited to the ticket price paid. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
10. Data protection
Personal data is processed as described in our Privacy Policy in compliance with the GDPR.
11. Governing law & disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Finland. Where you are a consumer, you may bring proceedings before the courts of your Member State of residence. You may also use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
